Greetings fellow cyclists!

- WEEKEND
HIGHLIGHTS -

Congratulations to the “Wet” Tour de Sewer ride finishers - GOOD JOB!!

Saturday, a small group of us managed to get a local 30 mile hilly ride in before the rain, and it was fantastic!

Sunday’s, good turnout and weather, thanks for joining us!

Remember to check out the club message board for last minute updates and ride modifications as a result of weather!!

Welcome Cheryl & Tim Forbes & Jim Wilson our newest BCCClub members (#147, 148 & 149)!

- UPCOMING ACTIVITIES -

For the BCCClub ride schedule, go to: http://www.bccclub.org/Calendar.html - Saturday ride; 47 mile intermediate to advanced ride from Redondo around PV and then our normal Sunday Fun Ride starting at 9:00 (remember the time change, Spring ahead).

The mid-week rides opportunities - Please consider joining us for a hilly “advanced” 20+ mile ride on Wednesday starting at 3:00 from the Catalina Coffee and/or for a moderate flat/fast 24 mile ride each Thursday at 9:00, starting from the Manhattan Beach Pier and ride with some incredible fun people; we hope to see you there!

Note: Remember to bring water and a snack for the longer rides - The BCCClub rides year-round and rides seldom get canceled due to bad weather. but, a good way to determine if the ride is “on or off” is, if it’s raining and/or if the streets have puddles from the night before, the ride is off. Also, it’s always a good idea to check the weather forecast before the ride and dress appropriately!

- From ED'S Mobile Bicycle Repair –
- Tip of the week -

http://www.jimlangley.net/buttons/reddotr.gifhttp://www.jimlangley.net/common/indent.gifCar Rack Repair Stand
If you have a bumper-mount car rack for carrying your bikes (the type with two arms that protrude), use it as a repair stand. Rest the bike on the uprights and it’ll be at the perfect height for making adjustments. On some racks you’ll even be able to pedal to adjust the derailleurs.
