Tutorial for the Wild Apricot phone app that gives easy access to charity events and member directory.
To use this feature, download the Wild Apricot app from the Apple Store or Google Play to your phone.
Download Wild Apricot for members, not Wild Apricot for admin, unless you have administrative privileges.
Login with your email address and password. You will remain logged in unless you actively log out.
Once logged in, the tabs at the bottom of the screen allow you to navigate between the member directory, events, tickets (which displays events that you have registered for) and your profile page.
The member directory contains contact information for each member.
The events tab displays a list of upcoming events, scroll down to see more events. Click on the date hyperlink below the event title to access the event details.
The Overview page allows you to register for an event such as a class, charity, or social event.
There are hyperlinks to add the event to your calendar and see the event location on your mapping app.
Touch the Info button to see more.
The event details page provides a description of the event.
Ride events will usually contain a link to the RidewithGPS ride route(s).
Click on a hyperlink to open up RWGPS and access the route.
To open a route you must have the RWGPS app on your phone.
The route can be navigated directly on your phone, or save the route and navigate if your ride will be outside of cell phone coverage, share the route or view the cue sheet.
